Council Leader John Williams receives an MBE
Congratulations to Darlington Council Leader John Williams who received his MBE from the Queen this week.
John has been leader for the past 16 years and was first elected as a councillor in 1979. He travelled to London with his wife Sheila, a head teacher in Darlington, and his children Phillip and Sarah.
